In-prison

In-prison ministries offer vital evangelism and discipleship, which inevitably lead to the questions, “What happens when they get out?” Mission 29:11 Reentry comes alongside these organizations to help answer that question. These partners provide initial screening and recommendations for mentorship; we match these candidates with an Inside/Outside Mentor and connections to the community.

Reentry Resources

Those coming out of prison may need assistance with a variety of re-start tasks such as finding a job and a place to live, navigating public transportation, grocery shopping for the first time in years, obtaining a driver’s license, and opening a banking account.

Churches

When a person goes to prison, the whole family gets locked up. These families and their experience are often invisible to the Church. Beginning with the Twin Cities, we are seeking to build a statewide network of churches and community partners who welcome, encourage and equip those coming out of prison, and their families, to become active and growing members of their community.
