About Us
Our Mission
Mission 29:11 Reentry exists to enable healthy reentry by men and women returning from prison by providing one-on-one mentorship, efficient access to outside resources, and a welcoming community.
The vision for Mission 29:11 Reentry was birthed in prison and is based on Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
The organization was founded in 2023 as a tax-exempt Minnesota nonprofit, under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Board of Directors
Several of our Board members bring extensive experience working with and training prisoners and volunteers inside prison, and volunteers and former prisoners on the outside, including the screening, matching and oversight of mentee/mentor relationships. Other members, having served time in prison, offer personal insight into the challenges of incarceration and healthy reentry.
