Walking out of prison can feel like stepping off a cliff.

It doesn't need to be that way.
Each month, more than 350 men and women walk out the door of a Minnesota prison with a box or two of all their belongings, and equal parts joy and trepidation.

Everyone deserves another chance, regardless of past choices or circumstances.

Those who have experienced addiction, failure, or feeling like the outsider will have some understanding of the challenges, pain, and loneliness of those seeking to enter or reenter society from incarceration.

After years behind the fence, with few choices and even fewer responsibilities, that long awaited day can be disorienting and overwhelming.

Mission 29:11 Reentry, through its staff, volunteers, churches and community partners, comes alongside men and women on their journey from incarceration, offering one-on-one mentorship, access to outside resources, and a welcoming, healthy community.
